“The bike project “Medicine Wheels” began in 2016, we build and upcycle bikes donated by the public, local law enforcement, and The Monterey Salinas Transit system, then give them to anyone who is improving their social condition or the social condition.”
To provide for the disenfranchised community with whatever is necessary to make their lives better is not always an easy task,however it takes just one random act of kindness at a time to make a difference. Whether it's something as simple as giving a cliff bar, banana ,or hygiene product. Or as complicated as a bike, tent, tarp, sleeping bag, clothes, or assistance with medical and social services, Humble Beginnings and Medicine Wheels is committed to giving the disenfranchised access to existing community resources healthy and back to being a part of the fabric of society once again.
